How do I start saving?

Gridwise users save 2¢ per gallon. To sign up for Gridwise Plus, visit the Marketplace tab of the Gridwise app. Go to the Benefits section, choose Gridwise Plus, and follow the instructions to sign up.

Sign up for Gridwise Gas by again visiting the Marketplace tab and going to the Benefits section. Choose Gridwise Gas and follow the instructions to sign up.

GasBuddy will send your gas card and you should receive it within 1-2 weeks after signing up. Once you receive your card, download the GasBuddy app and activate it.

Use your Gridwise Gas card to pay for gas. It’s accepted at 95% of stations nationwide. When you use your Gridwise Gas card, your payment will be deducted from your bank account, and your discount will be automatically applied.

How much does Gridwise Gas cost to join?
While Gridwise Gas is free to join, you will want to subscribe to Gridwise Plus to maximize your savings. Gridwise Plus costs $9.99 per month, or $71.99 per year.
Is my personal information secure with Gridwise Gas?
Absolutely – because we’re serious about security. We use multi-level security mechanisms, including dedicated firewalls and VPN services. Data is transmitted securely through Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2. Information is stored using end-to-end encryption and is managed using strict data access policies and controls. In addition, we use an encrypted token system, which does not store your bank login credentials on our system. By linking your checking account to the Gridwise Gas program, we avoid credit card interchange fees and pass those savings along to you.
Is a credit score required to apply for Gridwise Gas?
No credit check or credit card application is required to enroll in the Gridwise Gas program.
Is the Gridwise Gas card prepaid?
No. The card works like a debit card and uses funds from your linked bank account to pay for the fuel purchase – minus your discount.
